Farm Animal Practice News

The trouble with newsy web sites is the need to regularly change things to encourage you to return and see new things. This need has to be provided by the Vets in their spare time. So they do seem a bit slow.  We will try our best however to keep you informed of offers, news and anything that may be of interest.  Keep an eye on our Farm animal Newsletter for all the latest from G&B!
Our farmer meetings are proving to be rather popular, hopefully forthcoming small group meetings may include:

The my healthy herd project.
Why on earth do you hire a Bull?
Lameness prevention planning(September)
Basic mastitis and Cell count monitoring from your NMR
How to assess your fertility
Disease control made easy

and for the smallholders:
Poultry care
Lambing workshop
Small - scale cattle management
We are always open to suggestions, so feel free to let us know if there is a course that would be of benefit to you.

Fiona Lord is our Senior Nurse and Large Animal co-ordinator/Nurse. Hopefully providing a familiar face to organise meetings, Tb tests, checking up on your vaccinations, asking for bulk milk samples, even vaccinating and blood sampling.
