Farm Animal Practice News

The trouble with newsy web sites is the need to regularly change things to encourage you to return and see new things. This need has to be provided by the Vets in their spare time. So they do seem a bit slow.  We will try our best however to keep you informed of offers, news and anything that may be of interest.  Keep an eye on our Farm animal Newsletter for all the latest from G&B!
Our farmer meetings are proving to be rather popular, hopefully forthcoming small group meetings may include:

The my healthy herd project.
Why on earth do you hire a Bull?
Lameness prevention planning
Basic mastitis and Cell count monitoring from your NMR
How to assess your fertility
Disease control made easy

and for the smallholders:

Poultry care
Lambing workshop
Calf practical

We are always open to suggestions, so feel free to let us know if there is a course that would be of benefit to you.

Fiona Lord is our Farm Animal co-ordinator and Nurse and deals with most of the farm administration.  Hopefully providing a familiar face (and voice!) to arrange your tb tests, farmer meetings, sampling procedures and any other queries you may have.
